Our address is 5739 Tujunga Ave North Hollywood, CA 91601. We are five minutes northwest of the NoHo Arts District.

Three parking spaces in the back alleyway of our studio are reserved for clients of Studio 1. The third parking space will be perpendicular to the other parking spaces, so it is recommended you leave your keys with the assistant engineer or manager in the event that your car needs to be temporarily moved. Additional guests can park on Miranda St. for free and without a time limit.

Is my booking confirmed?2017-08-01T14:32:58+00:00

A booking is confirmed after we receive a purchase order from the record label or a 50% deposit is received from an independently funded client.

What is your cancellation policy?2017-08-01T14:32:51+00:00

All cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance. If cancelled less than 48 hours prior to a session, there will be a 50% cancellation fee. Sessions cancelled within 24 hours of the session start time are billed in full.

Do I need an assistant engineer or an engineer?2017-08-01T14:32:44+00:00

An assistant engineer is provided for your session at no additional costs. Our assistant engineer will assist you with load in, equipment and microphone setup, media transfers, and DAW setup. If you do not have an engineer, you can hire one of our engineers for your session.

Do you record to tape?2017-08-01T14:32:38+00:00

A tape machine can be rented at the client’s cost. We also recommend Studio A at Clear Lake Recording Studios for tape sessions, where we have a Studer A827 and an Otari MTR-12.

Can we order food?2017-08-01T14:32:32+00:00

A runner will be available for your session to go on food runs. Any runs that are further than 10 miles from Fever Recording Studios will incur a $15.00 charge. Clients are responsible for food costs unless a food budget is approved by the client’s label.

Who can I coordinate file transfers with?2017-08-01T14:32:20+00:00

The assistant engineer or engineer assigned to your session can coordinate media transfers, equipment requests, and instrument requests.

Equipments and instruments we do not have will be rented at the client’s cost through a rental company. Please inquire early as most rental companies do final deliveries at 4pm.

You may (1) Bring an iLok and install the software on the house computer; (2) Rent the plug-in; (3) Buy the plug-in and temporary install it on the house computer; (4) Bring a system to use for the session. We will provide an assistant engineer to install plug-ins. We do not allow demo installations or cracked versions of plug-ins on the house computer.

Studio 1’s control room is 17’ 9” x 25’ and the live room is 32’ 4” x 14’. Please visit Studio A’s floorplan for the layout.
